County Team Targets Elder Abusers

Monday, August 12th - "While abusers have taken Lackawanna County residents for millions of dollars, the Multidisciplinary Team has successfully prosecuted several scammers and recovered money for victims."

SAGECare Credentialed

​We are proud to annouce that the Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging is SAGECare credentialed for 2024! A SAGECare credential indicates that SAGECare Leadership or Certified Trainers have trained an agency’s staff on LGBTQ+ aging cultural competency.
